FCBD: GGM at Jetpack Comics and Shellback Artworks
Greetings!
Well, this Saturday I’ll be roaming around both at JetPack Comics in Rochester, NH as well as Shellback Artworks in Wells, ME. 
I’ll be around in a black shirt and red hair bandanna taking photos – if you see me, stop over and say hi!
For those that can’t be in the Northeast, I’ll be doing a write-up on the day, and review on the new TMNT Animated Adventures comic, and whatever else I can find… maybe a giveway, if I can beat the crowds.

The NH co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be the guest of honor for this years Rochester, NH Free Comic Book Day Festival. People are flying in from all over the country to meet this superstar. We expect the lines to be long so we are going to have to place limits on how many things you can get signed. If you have more than the limit please feel free to jump back in line and do it all over again. We just want to be fair to everyone that wants to visit Kevin. PLEASE NOTE: Sketches will not be available that day. Too many people and not enough time. Of course there will be a vendor table of great Eastman works that you can get signed at the event hall.

An illustrator for **Vincent Ferrante’s Witch Hunter comics, double-time work as storyboardist & VA on MTV’s Daria, a tiny bit more of VA highlights in Scott’s repertoire include MTV’s CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH, video games such as Pokémon, & of coarse the 4kids series TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES as the brilliant, grandiose, over-the-top creator of the Mouser Robots BAXTER STOCKMAN.

Scott provided the truest, most FREAKISH elements of Baxter from the original MIRAGE comics & ran with them. Not only proving just how horrible and insane Baxter really could be, but even giving Baxter a humorous backbone that often counter-balanced the darker tone of the whole series, even at times allowing BAXTER to steal the whole show !! No matter just how many times Shredder & the Turtles cut him down to size, LITERALLY .. Dr.Bax always came back more frightening and disturbing than ever before !! By far in Tokka’s top 3 incarnations of the character.

Is Baxter taking any Mouser requests ?? Well if you can stay on the GOOD side of his ego and the price is right – maybe. >;p

“This summer some of the news that was released was the new designer Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Merchandise line coming out. With watches, shoes, and shirts are some of the things we’ll be seeing for TMNT. This is bringing out new styles of art that we have yet to see on the official side of store sales. One of the artist who did some of these pieces is Ron English. At San Diego Comic Con International a lot of us fans saw some of Ron’s artwork get released to the public on shirts, which was a promotion for the Ninja Turtle watches that he designed. At New York City Comic Con we were able to catch up with Ron to ask him about .. ..

A good friend and fellow Ninja Turtle fan Tokka, joins me as the co-host in this interview. Tokka is a fan of Ron English, so he knew a lot of areas that I did not know about with Ron’s work. It was great to have Tokka on the show. A lot of fans may know him for his posts on Go Green Machine, Twitter, Facebook and so many other places on the internet. Tokka is an artist, who was even published by Mirage as one of the pin up pages in Tales of TMNT Volume 2.
Tokka and I talk to Ron about his history in art, how he originally learned of Ninja Turtles, and how he is now involved in the future of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We also talk a bit on how the fans of the Classic TMNT are reacting to this new swing with the Turtles.”

The RON x FLÜD collab- releases parallel this years FILA/TMNT releases. Ron also hints at his future with Nick, FLÜD, and the Turtles & soon-to-be released TMNT work in follow ups to the now infamous LEONARDO as MONA LISA piece ( made available as am exclusive poster at SDCC ’12 ). Hurry before Tokka collapses into a useless puddle of undead, toxic goo and gets toxic Mutagenic fluids all all over your fancy watch there.
