Lionsgate has released the final box for Season 10. It has also been revealed that the missing three episodes Once Upon a Time Machine and Planet of the Turtleoids 1&2 will finally be released on DVD as bonus episodes. The final set is due to be released on August 14th. Cowabunga!
Lionsgate Entertainment has announced that they plan to release Season 10 on August 14th, 2012. It will contain the final 8 episodes. The set will be a single disc release, and will include interviews with select animators that worked on the series. No word if this will be the last set that Lionsgate releases. There have been several questions as to why, Once Upon a Time Machine and Planet of the Turtleoids Part 1 and 2 have yet to be released on DVD. Hopefully they will be released some time in the future.

It’s been roughly a year and a half since the release of season 8 of TMNT 80s. With the sale of the property to Viacom things looked bleak for the release of the final two seasons. Today Lionsgate announced that Season 9 will be released August 16, 2011 on DVD. The single disk release will include all 8 episodes that made up the season and will run about $14.98. No cover art has been release, but it should be just around the next sewer tunnel. It could be very likely that Season 10 will be released before the end of the year. Cowabunga!!!!
