Aside from the excitement drummed up by the new show this year.. there was much talk, speculation, and even a little controversy on the release of **FLüD’s new TMNT designs premiering for the label exclusively at SDCC 2012 in the NICKELODEON BOOTH store !!

New theme song and Sneak Peeks galore!

It is truly amazing the sheer amount of stuff that’s flying at us now in terms of the new series, the events at this years SDCC… I am getting more and more excited with what the creative team has come up with for the turtles.The difference between the preliminary animation we saw a few months back compared to now is mind-blowing, and all the little touches… the white ‘mirage eyes’ in battle, the textures of the bandaging on their hands. Even the little facial twitches and breathing movements. There’s such an incredible amount of work put into all of this. This could really rev up the fandom and bring in some new blood. 🙂

More announcements about the September premiere  <– Update: Apparently, per Jason Biggs on the 4G coverage on Friday, this is going to be a one HOUR premiere!

TMNT Crashing at Nick Hotel for the Summer

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at Nick HotelWell, the TMNT decided to hang out at the Nickelodeon Suite Resorts in Orlando, Florida for Memorial Day weekend – apparently, they liked it so much, they decided to stay for the rest of the summer.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles merchandiseThey’ve got a meet-and-greet with the green team in the Mall, A food court, arcade, 4-D movie theater – Not to mention a gift shop with every kind of swag you could think of…

Plus, you can hang out at Antonio’s Pizza-rama, stuff your face with the guys and maybe even learn a few ninja moves.

So if you’re in Orlando, or are planning to head down for a vacation, go and check it out. Just be prepared for a Lot of visitors… You can check out Inside the Magic for more details and pictures. And I want to say a big ‘thank you’ to Ricky Brigante for reaching out and sharing his news and pictures with us. 🙂

The turtle news is just coming out of the woodwork lately. Toyark.com has posted some incredible pictures of still shots of tv footage, as well as more character images and pics of upcoming action figures.

The CGI work is fantastic, from skin freckles to the fabric weave of the boys masks. And we also get a picture of what Shredder’s going to look like in his armored glory. You absolutely must check these out…
