Ebay Alert: GobbledyGook 1 & 2 on Ebay

In the effort of full disclosure, this is an auction belonging to one of our staff writers, Terminator.

If you follow this blog, you probably don’t need me to tell you that GobbledyGook 1 and 2 are THE copper age grails. These books were put together by hand by Kevin and Peter themselves, and pre-date the Ninja Turtles (infact here is an add for TMNT #1 on the back of the books).

Normally I wouldn’t do this, but I will vouch for the authenticity of this particular set, as I own a set myself, and have known ALL previous owners of this set personally. Be one of only 50 possible people in the world to own a set of these books (as only 50 copies were ever printed). Click the pic to go directly to the auction.

Thanks, Steph for putting this up for me. I did want to add that this auction will end on Monday and if it does not sell, then this will be the ONLY time I will offer my second set for sale. I know its a high price (and deservedly so IMO) so if it doesn’t sell, then oh well. I’ll have to be content to have 2 of these amazing sets in my collection!

Because let’s face it, the REAL reason you didn’t go is probably really lame and boring. And who wants to read lame and boring?!
