So if you’re like me, and have Pre-ordered the Usagi Yojimbo Special Edition on Amazon, you…probably don’t need to read this post! However, for therest of you, I got this e-mail this morning:

We’re writing about the order you placed on November 18 2010 (Order# ##############). Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date: Stan Sakai “Usagi Yojimbo: The Special Edition (Usagi Yojimbo)”

Estimated arrival date: December 24 2010

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

So there you have it. Sorry to those of you who were hoping to get this before Christmas.

Kevin Eastman Currently Selling…Everything

Ok, not quite everything. However; the auction is for “50 boxes” of TMNT merchandise. This should probably include just about one of everything, as Kevin was sent atleast 1 sample of every TMNT item ever produced. Included in the auction is one of the last surviving Turtle costumes from the first film.

GeekChicDaily is also running a contest to promote the sale.

Mirage Licensing Comic “Restock”

For those of you who do not follow Peter Laird’s blog (which can be found in our sidebar), he recently decided to weed out his TMNT comic collection. These books are going to be sold on the Mirage Licensing website (and ebay for the rare stuff). If I were you, I would check the Mirage Website daily for updates on the sale.

Rob Paulsen in Spaceballs

No really,

Had the movie playing in the living room while I was in the kitchen. I heard his voice and was like “what the hell?”

So at the end of the ludicrous speed scene, Dark Helmet is picked up by two spaceballs. One is the “asshole”, the other is Rob Paulsen. He has a line, words to the effect “Here sir, let me help you up”.

Rob confirmed it. I just thought it was interesting since it is not a credited role.

Thanks for snapping the screenshot, Jester!
