Here’s the 2nd in a series of Vision Quest portraits I’ve been working on. Last time I did Donatello, now it’s Forest Mikey’s turn!
Some of the layers in this were actually photographed last October on location at The Forest of Dean. The Forest of Dean is a notable vacation spot here in the UK and also a popular area for movie production – with Star Wars: The Force Awakens being a recent big feather in its cap!

TMNT Megabloks Blindbags s1 are now surfacing at £2.99 each, and have so far only been found in Smyths stores. There is no idea yet when the first wave of toys will surface yet, but Spring is a good assumption.
On a personal note, I imported in the Baxter’s Laboratory Set from Amazon US. In short I am very impressed with the MegaBloks handling of the TMNT brand so far. It had a reasonably good run with Lego, but now the construction is under new management. I hope merry ol’ England and neighboring Europe does not have to wait too long for TMNT Mega Bloks!
Rob WIlson has reported in with some ASDA figure finds including: Mutant Shredder 2-pack, Mondo Gecko, Savage Mikey and the Casey Slamboni vehicle/figure set.
On the subject of ASDA, their exclusive 2-packs featuring Raph VS Shredder, Mikey VS Rocksteady and Leo VS Bebop have all been reduced from £17 to £12 each. On the flipside, rival store Tesco are offering basic assortment figures at a reduced £7 each. January bargains galore!
With a new episode from Season 4 set to air and lots of positive feedback from the internet fanbase regarding the new MegaBloks this has been a positive weekend for TMNT! May 2016 bring in many more.

“TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS” is the sequel to the 2014 hit film “TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES.” The film is based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman and is directed by David Green (“EARTH TO ECHO”). Michael Bay (the “TRANSFORMERS franchise) returns to produce alongside his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form (“ TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES”), with Galen Walker and Scott Mednick (“TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES”) also producing.
Also returning for the sequel is Megan Fox (“TRANSFORMERS”) as April O’Neil, Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”) as Vernon Fenwick and the Turtles: Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Pete Ploszek at Leonardo, and Jeremy Howard as Donatello. Rounding out the cast is Stephen Amell (“Arrow,”) as Casey Jones, Tyler Perry (“GONE GIRL”, the “MADEA” franchise) as Baxter Stockman, Academy Award nominated actress Laura Linney (“The Big C”, “LOVE ACTUALLY”) as Chief Rebecca Vincent, Brian Tee (“JURASSIC WORLD”) as Shredder, WWE World Heavy Weight Champion Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly as Rocksteady and Gary Anthony Williams (“THE INTERNSHIP”) as Bebop.
