Party Wagon 1990 UK Release, Instructions and Sticker sheet

I came across these paper based couple of gems a couple of weeks ago whilst on the search for labels to restore an original Party Wagon release.

Here’s how our versions in Blighty turned out. Printed on UK A4 and A3 paper sizes respectively.

As far as I know (Hero Turtles logo aside) the labels are the same as the US release. We’d love to have feedback to confirm if there are any other differences.

90’s Athena Turtles print range

Whilst having a clear-out, I came across this postcard from an old collection.

UK art retailer Athena at one stage had a wide range of Hallmark style shops across the UK dealing in various print media. During the original ‘Hero Turtles’ craze the company produced a range of Posters, Postcards, Greeting Cards and Plastic wallet size cards featuring in-house produced artwork of the brothers.

With the postcard pictured above, you can see UK censors have also been at it again. Donatello’s bo-staff has been edited out and replaced with a long piece of jerky.
