Alex CF's INCREDIBLE Jim Lee Leo Custom
If you are intimately familiar with the Ninja Turtle Toy line, you’ll know that in 1995, Playmates released 3 figures based on Turtle designs by the famous comic artist – Jim Lee.
This series included Mike, Raph, and Don, but for whatever reason, not Leo…
So Imagine my shock when THIS popped up (Thank you andrewdsz of the Technodrome)
Upon seeing this figure I IMMEDIATELY went into super slueth mode. And it didn’t take long to find out the truth. I am actually kind of shocked that this wasn’t on our radar previously, as the article on Toycutter.com was from October of last year. According to the article, the figure is the work of Alex CF.
Needless to say, we are very impressed with Alex. His work is virtually flawless. Before I found the article, I was absolutely convinced that somehow a limited number of Jim Lee Leo’s were released.
Alas, sorry gang. But damn Alex. Nice work.
